About The Position
The College of Natural Sciences at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate and engaging faculty members to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at its Phoenix campus. This role involves facilitating classroom lectures and discussions, engaging students in learning course objectives, assessing student performance, and mentoring their success. Adjunct faculty are expected to provide a positive example by upholding the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission. Requirements
- Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Health or Exercise Science
- Holding NSCA CSCS certification
- Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed
- Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate or Master’s in any Health or Exercise Science-related discipline
- Holding NSCA CSCS certification
