Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education serving Central Virginia. As part of the Virginia Community College System, PVCC is recognized for its transfer curriculum, relationship with the University of Virginia, and workforce development programs. This posting is for an Adjunct Faculty Pool in Physics, with applications reviewed on a continuous basis until positions are filled. The role involves teaching developmental and/or college-level physics courses, primarily face-to-face, with a possibility of remote instruction. Classes may be held during the day or evening, on weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Effectively plan and teach courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.
- Teach developmental and/or college-level courses.
- Potentially teach distance-learning courses.
