About The Position
Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education serving Central Virginia. As part of the Virginia Community College System, PVCC is recognized for its transfer curriculum, its relationship with the University of Virginia, and its Workforce Development Programs. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis for adjunct faculty positions in Engineering. The college seeks qualified individuals to teach developmental and/or college-level courses, potentially including distance learning, during days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends. Instruction is primarily face-to-face, with a possibility of remote instruction.
Requirements
- Qualified and interested adjunct faculty members in Engineering teaching disciplines and/or subject areas
Responsibilities
- Teaching developmental and/or college-level courses
- Potentially teaching distance-learning courses
- Teaching during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends
