About The Position
The Division of Technology (DT) within the College of Business and Technology (CBT) at SPU is seeking adjunct educators for part-time, contractual teaching opportunities. The DT serves undergraduate majors in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, and Computer Science, and also houses Physics and Mathematics faculty. The division emphasizes applied learning within a Christian faith and values framework. ABET accreditation is held by all engineering programs except Biomedical Engineering, which is a new offering starting in 2025. This application pool will be used to fill needs in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics. Candidates with advanced discipline knowledge and industry experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- A personal commitment to Christian faith, enthusiasm about supporting SPU’s mission, alignment with the University’s Statement of Faith, and a willingness to accept the lifestyle expectations of the Christian community.

Benefits
- The salary range for Adjunct Professors in CBT is $950 - 1,250 per credit hour, depending on education and experience.
