Adjunct Faculty (Online) - Department of Psychology
About The Position
Rowan University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions leading online course offerings. The majority of our online courses in Psychology serve our undergraduate population. The applicants must be committed to excellence in the online teaching of psychology. The Psychology Department offers a range of graduate and undergraduate programs including a BA in Psychology (with online and in-person degree opportunities), a BS in Psychological Science, and a minor in Psychology. The Psychology Department also offers MA degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis, a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and is launching a graduate program in Human Factors. In addition to these, we offer several certificate programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Psychology Department will accept applications throughout the year. When a teaching vacancy arises, we will consider the submitted applications in an effort to staff the course.
Requirements
- At least a master’s degree.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Interested in and available for teaching in person.
- Previous teaching experience and qualifications in teaching college courses online.
- Ability to teach specific types of courses online.
- Preferred campus(es) and general availability for teaching.

Benefits
- Minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught.
- Maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.
