About The Position
The Psychology Department at Assumption University in Worcester, MA seeks to hire an instructor to teach one section of PSY 253: Psychology of Learning during the Spring 2027 semester. The semester runs from January 19 to May 10 (inclusive of finals period). Adjunct instructors are welcome members of the department, and are provided with office space, email, voicemail, and support and resources needed for quality teaching. Successful candidates may have the possibility of teaching additional courses in subsequent semesters.
Requirements
- PhD in Behavior Analysis or Psychology is preferred.
- ABD doctoral candidates will be considered.
- Terminal master's degree in behavior analysis or psychology with experience teaching at the college level will also be considered.
- Ability to teach topics related to behaviorism, Pavlovian learning, and operant learning.
