Adjunct Faculty - Psychology
About The Position
New York Institute of Technology's six schools and colleges offer undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and professional degree programs in in-demand disciplines. The university has campuses in New York City and Long Island, New York; Jonesboro, Arkansas; and Vancouver, British Columbia, as well as programs around the world. The Psychology and Counseling Department at New York Institute of Technology’s Manhattan campus anticipates an opening for a part-time (Adjunct) Instructor for the Spring 2027 semester. The new adjunct faculty hire will be assigned to teach Psychology and /or Sociology in-person courses.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in psychology.
- Prior experience in teaching college-level psychology classes.
- Prior experience using an LMS (such as Blackboard or Canvas) for course delivery.
Responsibilities
- Teach Psychology and/or Sociology in-person courses.
- Participate in orientation, as needed, before the start of the semester.
