About The Position

The Department of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science, Associate in Science, and Career Certificate in nursing programs. The Bachelor of Science program is asynchronous, and the Associate in Science and Career Certificate programs are face-to-face. Adjunct instructors provide instruction, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and maintain College and department standards. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing degree from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College (for BSN program)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College (for AS and Career Certificate programs)
  • Current, active, unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse license
  • Successful results of a criminal background check
  • Successful results of a urine drug screen
  • Successful completion of clinical onboarding as required by the assigned clinical facility
  • Ability to use the technology required for the assigned course(s)
  • Meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations
  • Disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application
