About The Position
Teaching faculty are professional educators whose primary responsibility is fulfilling the District mission of providing a quality education for students attending the colleges. Faculty serve as leaders, teachers, advisors, and facilitators of learning, uphold the colleges’ mission and values, and foster effective working relationships with students and colleagues. Faculty members are responsible to a department or program chairperson. This is a part-time, temporary position without benefits. Teaching hours vary. Classes may include evening and weekend hours; otherwise, the schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Entry pay depends on education level. Requirements
- A master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.

- Teach in the Music discipline and provide students with a quality education.
