About The Position
Teaching faculty are professional educators whose primary responsibility is fulfilling the District mission of providing a quality education for students attending the colleges. Faculty members serve as leaders, teachers, advisors, and facilitators of learning; uphold the colleges’ mission and values; and foster effective working relationships with students and colleagues. Faculty members are responsible to a department or program chairperson. Classes may include evening and weekend sessions; otherwise, the stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Applicants must upload transcripts and a resume/CV. The position is part-time and temporary, with hours per week varying. Entry pay depends on education level. Benefits are not offered for this position.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
