The goal of the Music Production program is to provide students with the focused knowledge and understanding of music production technology and concepts needed to qualify for entry-level industry positions as independent songwriters and producers, multimedia music composers, digital music recording engineers, MIDI/digital audio workstation operators and programmers, music editors, music arrangers, game music composers, and a variety of other positions in the audio and entertainment industries. In addition to gaining technical proficiency and creative development, the education provided through this program will help students develop critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills that contribute to lifelong learning, providing them with tools to help sustain a long and productive professional career in the entertainment and media industry. This position is part-time working no more than 20 hours per week and must reside in the State of Florida. This position may teach campus or online sections as needed.
