About The Position

We are seeking qualified, dedicated candidates who are looking for part-time teaching opportunities to join our NURSING PROGRAM team as a clinical instructor and help us shape the future of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Adjunct appointments are temporary and for a specified contract period only. CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire.
• Must meet the continuing education requirements by the Board of Nursing to maintain continuing licensure.
• Two years of recent nursing care experience working with acute medical surgical patients.
• Residency within a New England state.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Enrollment in a Master of Science Nursing program
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)
• Prior teaching experience
• Industry experience

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction in Med/Surgical Nursing I (NUR 132L).
• Teach theoretical foundations for basic health assessment and integrate with nursing skills.
• Facilitate student learning and demonstration of health assessment skills in laboratory and clinical settings.
• Present foundations of pharmacology.
• Introduce the nursing process as a decision-making framework to assist students in developing effective clinical judgment skills.
• Ensure students learn and demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide safe, quality care.

Benefits

• Compensation rate of $47.95 to $59.45 an hour.
• Offers of employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of the requisite background check.
