Baker College of Muskegon is seeking an Adjunct to teach courses in Mathematics! Requirements

  • Master's degree in mathematics or acceptable subfield, or Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate semester hours of mathematics content (could be out of field courses with heavy math content) or Master's degree in education and secondary teaching certification (grades 6-12) in mathematics
  • Computer literate with Canvas, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps and the internet

Nice To Haves

  • Doctoral degree in mathematics, engineering, physics or statistics
  • Previous teaching experience

Responsibilities

  • Teach up to a maximum of 9-credit hours per semester
  • Revise, review, and develop curriculum as assigned
  • Attend all required professional development and training sessions
  • Collect and submit required assessment of student learning data
  • Actively participate in campus and system committees, meetings, projects, and activities
  • Act as a positive role model and brand ambassador both on and off campus
