About The Position
Teaching faculty are professional educators whose primary responsibility is fulfilling the District mission of providing a quality education for all students attending the colleges. Faculty members are responsible to a department/program chairperson. Their relationship with students is that of leader, teacher, advisor, and facilitator of learning. Faculty members uphold the colleges’ mission and values and foster effective working relationships with students and colleagues. This is a part-time, temporary position without benefits. Weekly hours vary. Evening and Saturday classes are available. Entry pay depends on education level. Requirements
- A master's degree in the teaching discipline, or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
