About The Position

Felician University is offering opportunities for Adjunct Faculty in Information Literacy within the School of Arts and Sciences, University Library Department for the 2026-2027 academic year. Adjunct faculty will provide classroom experiences guided by 'best practices' in higher education and their respective disciplines, under the mentorship of full-time faculty. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Library and/or Information Science from an ALA or AASL accredited school or Master’s degree in Communications
  • 1+ years’ experience teaching information literacy at the baccalaureate level
  • Familiarity with the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy
  • Current working knowledge of library databases and internet resources
  • Proficiency in navigating online learning management platforms, especially for D2L Brightspace
  • Ability and willingness to work on both the Lodi and Rutherford campuses
  • Willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan core values and mission of the University
