About The Position

Deliver instruction in HVAC topics such as system installation, maintenance,
troubleshooting, and repair. Provide hands-on training in lab/shop environments
using industry-standard tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in HVAC or related field, with 4 years of related work experience, or BS in a related technical field and 2 years of work experience.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge, experience, or evidence of a commitment to inclusivity and excellence in teaching methodologies that effectively engage our diverse student population.
• The candidate should have experience with instructional technologies, including presentation software and learning management systems (i.e., Blackboard).
• Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency with technology and written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in HVAC topics such as system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Provide hands-on training in lab/shop environments using industry-standard tools and equipment
• Develop and/or follow established course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials
• Assess student learning through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of equipment
• Participate in departmental meetings and training as required
