About The Position

This is a general posting to create a pool of applicants for adjunct faculty openings throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. The DU Honors Program cultivates student capacity for original academic inquiry and creative exploration, encouraging students to become self-directed learners who ask new questions and pursue their curiosities. The program's three pillars are its curriculum, community, and contributions to original research, scholarship, and creative activities. The Honors Program offers 1- and 2-credit Honors Seminars. HNRS 2000 and HNRS 3000 are 1-credit courses (50 minutes/week) for second and final-year Honors students, focusing on Honors advising, whole personness, mentoring, and future planning. HNRS 24xx are 2-credit courses (110 minutes/week) for students of all majors, exploring diverse and engaging themes to provide intellectual breadth. These courses are offered in all quarters except summer, and hiring is on a rolling basis.
