About The Position

Cleveland University-Kansas City’s College of Health Science is building a pool of adjunct faculty candidates to teach in an online master’s in healthcare administration program. Program content includes coursework in six areas as they apply to healthcare: healthcare systems and structure; leadership; operations -legal, ethical, and compliance; business principles -managing people and marketing; financial planning and management; and data analytics. The timeline for teaching specific courses depends upon program approval by the Higher Learning Commission and the course rotations. Not all classes are taught each term. Candidates should possess an academic degree relevant to what they are teaching and at least one level above the level at which they teach. Candidates with a relevant master’s degree may be considered if they have verifiable combination of education, equivalent experience and/or additional qualifications in the discipline which demonstrate a mastery of the skills and extensive and diverse knowledge of the working environment.
