About The Position

Part-time adjunct faculty position in the Department of Health Administration. Adjunct faculty are employed on a semester-by-semester basis, as needed, and are non-tenure-earning. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as part-time faculty, bringing in expertise in their field and incorporating relevant real-life examples into the curriculum.Teach assigned course(s) in accordance with the approved syllabus and course schedule.Hold scheduled office hours with frequency and modality as negotiated with the acting program director and department chair.Create, administer, and grade assessments and use Canvas to deliver course content.Answer questions and provide additional support for students.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Health Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in computer software usage and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive)

Nice To Haves

• An earned doctorate in Health Administration or a closely related field.
• Experience in a Learning Management System (LMS) platform, particularly the Canvas LMS.
• Previous experience teaching at a higher education institution.
