Requirements

Master’s degree in Environmental Science OR Master’s degree in any Natural Science or Engineering AND 9 graduate credit hours in environmental-related science or engineering courses (e.g., Atmospheric Sciences, Botany, Earth Science, Ecology, Environmental Biology, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Geosciences, and/or Oceanography) OR Master’s degree AND 18 graduate semester hours in Environmental courses.
High level of computer literacy.
Commitment to teaching.

Nice To Haves

Ph.D. preferred.
Prior college teaching experience is preferred.

Examine and adapt instructional, relational, and classroom practices to more effectively engage and support students.
Engage in student consultation, course preparation, review of course outlines, and preparation of course syllabi.
Provide prompt and constructive support to students through regular office hours and timely feedback on assessments and activities.
Provide prompt feedback to student emails.
Adhere to all reporting deadlines such as grade processing, enrollment verification, syllabus submission, and textbook adoption.
Participate in service to the college and its community.
