About The Position
The Allied Health department offers college-level Dental Assisting Technology and Management courses in a face-to-face format. Adjunct instructors instruct students in theory and clinic, develop curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and maintain College and department standards. This position reports to the Department Head, Allied Health.
Requirements
- Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with an associate degree in a qualifying field
- Two years of relevant work experience
- Current Certified Dental Assistant certification issued by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB)
- Current BLS for health care providers
- Successful results of a criminal background check
