About The Position

Regent University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to provide targeted remote support for the data analytics and Tableau components of select business analytics courses, starting with BAN 625. This role involves conducting scheduled demonstrations, technical consultations, and virtual support sessions to assist students with data preparation, visualization design, dashboard development, and interpretation of analytical results. The adjunct faculty member will also help students troubleshoot technical issues in Tableau, demonstrate appropriate workflows and professional practices, and guide students in translating findings into business insights. Additionally, this role may assist in developing technical resources and providing feedback within established parameters, while maintaining student confidentiality and adhering to university requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide targeted remote support for the data analytics and Tableau components of select business analytics courses, beginning with BAN 625.
Conduct scheduled Tableau demonstrations, technical consultations, and virtual support sessions.
Assist students with data preparation, visualization design, dashboard development, and interpretation of analytical results.
Help students troubleshoot technical issues encountered while completing Tableau-based assignments and projects.
Demonstrate appropriate Tableau workflows and professional practices.
Guide students in translating analytical findings into clear, decision-relevant business insights.
Assist in developing or refining datasets, examples, demonstrations, and supporting technical resources.
Provide formative technical feedback within parameters established by the faculty member of record.
Maintain student confidentiality and comply with all applicable university requirements.
