Roger Williams University (RWU) is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for the Cummings School of Architecture. The Cummings School of Architecture offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs, as well as undergraduate minor and graduate certificate programs in fields such as Architecture, Art and Architectural History, Preservation Practices, Real Estate, Urban and Regional Planning, and Urban Studies. Requirements

• For Real Estate Courses: A graduate degree in Real Estate, Business or Law is ideal.
• Previous teaching experience preferred, including engaging students from varying educational levels.
• At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be accepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Responsibilities

• Teach ARCH 413 Adv Arch Design Studio (5 credit hours, 9 contact hours per week) in Fall 2026, fulfilling requirements in the BS in Architecture.
• Teach REAL 501 Real Estate, Equity and Environment (3 credit hours, asynchronous online), fulfilling requirements in the MS in Real Estate and Graduate Certificate in Real Estate.
• Teach REAL 544 Market Analysis and Decision Making (3 credit hours, asynchronous online), fulfilling requirements in the MS in Real Estate and Graduate Certificate in Real Estate.
