About The Position
Teach courses in the Counselor Education Department including, but not limited to, Cultural & Diversity Counseling, Human Sexuality Issues in Counseling, Career Counseling & Development, Research in Counseling, Counseling Theories & Techniques.
Requirements
- Master's degree in the field/discipline in which they teach
- 18 hours of coursework related to the course(s) they teach
- Significant experience may be substituted for the degree with Provost's approval
Nice To Haves
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or licensed eligible in Virginia
- Experience as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor or School Counselor
