The role teaches an 8-week modular program covering construction site safety, framing basics, squaring and plumbing walls, window installation, and siding installation. The instructor creates a safe, structured shop environment where trainees with mixed skill levels progress from orientation to independently completing a fully framed, sheathed, wrapped, and sided wall section. The position works closely with WSU Tech Training & Workforce Innovation staff and the employer partner to align instruction with production needs, track trainee competency, and report outcomes. The position is part-time, on-site with an industry partner, and pays $32 per hour.
