About The Position
American University's Department of Computer Science in the College of Arts and Sciences is seeking adjunct faculty members for upcoming Academic Years. This is an open continuous vacancy announcement. The department offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The rank of the position will depend on the applicant's highest degree earned in Computer Science or related fields. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Requirements
- Highest degree earned in Computer Science or related fields (determines rank).
- Must deliver services from DC, MD, or VA, or perform work on-site at the university.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Computer Science, with the specific subject area determined by the course.
- Deliver services to the university from either the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, or perform work on-site at the university.
