Adjunct Faculty - Chemistry - Research Van Ry Lab
About The Position
This position involves assisting graduate students and the principal investigator with research experiments in the Van Ry Lab. The role includes conducting experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, generating figures and graphs, documenting results, and performing tasks necessary for lab operations. The successful candidate will also support the PI with other research-related responsibilities. Applicants are required to submit an updated curriculum vitae, cover letter, and a Mission Alignment Statement. This position requires the candidate to relocate to and reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
Requirements
- Experience in traditional 2D, spheroid, and organoid cell culture
- Proficiency in proteomic data analysis software, particularly Perseus
- Experience with rheometry experiments and data analysis
- Preclinical animal experience, including the ability to operate a high-resolution micro-CT scanner for mice
- Capability to perform general wet lab procedures
- Willingness to learn new techniques as needed
- Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment
