About The Position

This job is a part-time, non-benefited position in the Business Sciences Division that reports to the Program Director of Business Management. The targeted salary is paid in a lump sum based on contact hours taught. Minimum requirements include holding a Master's degree in a related discipline or at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline.

Requirements

• Must hold a Master's degree in related discipline or at least 18 graduate hours in discipline.
• Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.

Nice To Haves

• Microsoft Office certifications.
• Minimum of two years related work experience.
• Prior teaching experience face to face and online is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers lecture and/or lab course material.
• Prepares lesson plans for classroom and/or online instruction for general core courses.
• Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
• Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports.
• Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area.
• Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
• Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately.
• Assists with recruitment retention and job placement efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned in the fulfillment of the needs, philosophy, and purpose of Gwinnett Technical College.
