About The Position
Northern Essex Community College (NECC) is seeking instructors for a primarily day-accelerated, face-to-face Introduction to Accounting I (ACC101) class for Fall 2026. Additionally, they are seeking instructors to join their Adjunct Faculty pool to teach a variety of Business and Accounting courses on an as-needed basis. Classes are offered at NECC's Haverhill and/or Lawrence campuses during daytime and evening hours, and can be online, face-to-face, or in hybrid formats. Positions are available pending sufficient enrollment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Experience teaching in a related discipline at the college level
- Experience using technology in instruction and assessment
- CORI and SORI check
Nice To Haves
- Community College teaching experience
- Experience with online and hybrid teaching and experiential learning
- Experience with Brightspace Learning Management System
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses according to Academic Catalog description and established departmental student learning outcomes.
- Adhere to all NECC policies and MCCC contract requirements, including policies regarding grading, deadlines, evaluation process, and syllabus requirements.
