About The Position

Full Sail University is seeking Adjunct faculty to help deliver courses in the Computer Science Bachelor's — Artificial Intelligence Concentration. The program curriculum focuses on the skills to design, develop, and implement AI solutions. Faculty should possess knowledge and experience in topics such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and Human-AI interaction. Faculty in this program will develop and teach curriculum to educate students on the design, development, and implementation of software-based artificial intelligence solutions for the business, entertainment, and consumer markets. This position is part-time working no more than 20 hours per week, on-campus OR online, and must be a resident in the state of Florida. Requirements

Minimum of four (4) years related and verifiable work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing for grammar and punctuation
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task while working independently and collaboratively with other teachers and university staff
Ability to interact professionally and constructively with students and staff at all levels in an immersive, fast-paced environment
Strong working knowledge of software-based development, problem solving, principles, and applications
Experience as a software developer, software engineer, programmer, etc.
Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint and Outlook

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
Experience implementing AI in software
Strong working knowledge of object-oriented design, and data structures and algorithms
Experience in Agile software development
Experience developing for multiple platforms
Teaching or mentoring experience
Proficiency with programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, or Python
Familiarity with integrated development environments like Visual Studio or the Anaconda suite
