About The Position
Black Hawk College seeks an Adjunct Faculty/Part-time Instructor for Applied Music (Saxophone). The faculty member is expected to encourage learning by preparing appropriate syllabi, developing lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the students' educational experience. They will also develop and execute appropriate methods of evaluating students' performance, and develop, secure, and maintain the equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of the classroom material.
Requirements
- Master of Music degree or Master of Arts in Music degree is required
- Demonstrated oral English proficiency for classroom instruction
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate in music degree desired
- Some college teaching experience is preferred
- Experience directing choral or instrumental ensembles may be required depending on the position opening
Responsibilities
