About The Position

The Adjunct English Instructor plays a vital role in delivering high-quality education to undergraduate students by teaching courses in English language, literature, and composition. Requirements

• Master’s degree in English, Literature, Composition, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience teaching English at the college or university level.
• Strong command of English grammar, composition, and literary analysis.
• Ability to develop course materials and assessments aligned with learning objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures and course content in English language, literature, and writing.
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment tools that meet academic standards and learning outcomes.
• Evaluate and grade student assignments, exams, and projects in a timely and constructive manner.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students during office hours and through other communication channels.
• Collaborate with department faculty to maintain curriculum quality and participate in faculty meetings as required.
