Adjunct English Instructor
About The Position
Teach English Composition and Literature courses on Florence-Darlington Technical College’s main campus, satellite sites, and/or online. Days and times may vary depending on the courses assigned. The position is classified as Adjunct and Temporary. Applicants should complete the State application, including current and previous work history and education. A resume may be attached but cannot replace the work history and education sections. Applicants should upload copies of all college transcripts with the application and resume. Eligible applicants claiming Veteran’s Preference must select veteran status on the application and provide a DD Form 214 upon request and before an interview.
Requirements
- A doctorate or master’s degree in English, or a doctorate or master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in English.
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching experience, preferably with multimedia technology, learning management systems, conferencing software, and online instruction.
- Experience teaching writing and literature using student-self assessment curricula.
