This position is for an Adjunct Faculty member in the Counseling program within the School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation. The role involves teaching courses for the Counseling or Counselor Education tracks. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy, and is a .25 FTE role, typically involving one class per semester.

Requirements

• Must have a PhD degree in Counseling or a very closely related field, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program OR a PhD degree in Counselor Education or a very closely related field.
• May substitute a Master’s degree with 10 years’ experience for fieldwork teaching.
• Must have a valid state license in applicable field of Counseling.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate online teaching experience.
• Professional experience in the CRC field.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses for the Counseling or Counselor Education tracks of the Counseling program in the School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation.
