About The Position

The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Sciences (COS) is seeking adjunct faculty to teach courses across various disciplines, including film, communication, advertising, and public relations. Adjunct faculty are employed on a semester-by-semester basis, and their qualifications are retained in a database for potential future teaching roles. The demand for these positions fluctuates throughout the academic year. COS is the largest college at UCF and a significant contributor to the STEM workforce, encompassing natural, computational, and social sciences. The college is dedicated to providing a world-class education, fostering research, and supporting community prosperity.

Requirements

• An earned master’s degree (undergraduate level teaching) or doctorate degree (graduate level teaching) from an accredited institution in the subject area to be taught or equivalent relevant experience.
• All applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and the university cannot accommodate H‑1B transfers or employment-based visa processing for individuals currently sponsored by another employer.

Responsibilities
