About The Position

The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Sciences (COS) is seeking adjunct faculty to teach courses across various disciplines, including film, communication, advertising, and public relations. Adjunct faculty are hired on a semester-by-semester basis, with compensation determined by the unit's specific model. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a large, research-intensive university that is a significant economic driver and provides students with real-world experiences. Requirements

• An earned master’s degree (undergraduate level teaching) or doctorate degree (graduate level teaching) from an accredited institution in the subject area to be taught or equivalent relevant experience.
• All applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and the university cannot accommodate H‑1B transfers or employment-based visa processing for individuals currently sponsored by another employer.

Responsibilities

• Ability to teach content for specific courses.
