About The Position
Wilkes University seeks candidates for open positions as Adjunct Clinical Instructors in the Passan School of Nursing (PSON). The PSON provides comprehensive programming which has expanded professional opportunities for undergraduate students. The undergraduate program is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Requirements
- A masters degree in nursing is required.
- Must hold a current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Nice To Haves
- Two to four years of relevant clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teaching, supervising, and evaluating Wilkes University nursing students in clinical practice experiences.
- Collaborating with nursing faculty on skill demonstration.
- Observing student skill demonstrations.
- Assigning clinical activities that correlate with theoretical objectives.
- Providing critiques and evaluating students' clinical performance.
- Participating in clinical agency orientation programs.
