About The Position

The School of Business at Elmhurst University invites applications to join the pool of part-time (adjunct) faculty to teach in the area of Business Analytics.
Position Status: Exempt
Salary Range: The pay range is $3,800-$4,000 for a standard 1.0 credit (4 semester hour) course. New part-time faculty start at $3,800 (Adjunct Level 1).
Work Location: This position is ineligible for remote work.
Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate Business Analytics with knowledge of Power Query, SQL, Power BI, or R. Adjunct responsibilities include course preparation, grading, and being available for students outside of the classroom. There is a maximum teaching load of six courses per year.
Other Responsibilities
Supports the mission, vision, and values of Elmhurst University.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of college teaching experience or equivalent.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.
• Master’s degree in business analytics, information systems, operations research or an MBA with a concentration in business analytics.
• Functional knowledge of tools such as Power Query, SQL, Power BI, or R.
