About The Position

This position involves introducing students to fundamental knowledge of research methods used in psychological sciences and helping them apply these concepts to studying behavior. The role includes developing and presenting instruction aligned with the student learning outcomes of the course, meeting at designated class periods, and grading student assignments in a timely manner. Additionally, the professor will be responsible for submitting mid-semester progress reports and final grades by University deadlines.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree (or bachelor’s degree with relevant experience) in psychology or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment.
  • Basic skills in conducting research with human participants are required.
  • Individuals committed to teaching with inclusive pedagogies that promote active engagement to foster student learning are also encouraged to apply.
