About The Position

Valparaiso University's Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL) program is seeking Adjunct Assistant Professors for its 100% online, asynchronous program. This program focuses on values-based leadership and prepares students for leadership roles. Adjunct faculty will deliver transformative educational experiences across seven-week course sessions throughout the academic year, with appointments made on a semester-by-semester basis, teaching one to two courses per semester.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Organizational Leadership, Business, Management, or related discipline).
  • Experience teaching at the graduate level, preferably in an online environment.
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms and instructional technologies.
  • Commitment to values-based leadership principles.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and mentorship to graduate students.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Quality Matters (QM) standards.
  • Experience in curriculum development or instructional design.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate graduate-level instruction in a fully online, asynchronous environment using best practices for digital engagement.
  • Ensure all courses align with the program's values-based leadership framework and Quality Matters (QM) design standards.
  • Provide substantive feedback and guidance to graduate students appropriate to their personal and professional goals.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director and the Center of Innovation, Teaching, Assessment, and Learning (CITAL) to maintain high standards regarding course design, teaching, and learning.
