About The Position

The Orthodontics faculty member will serve in the Department of Preventative, Pediatric, & Community Dentistry. Core responsibilities will include clinical and simulation instruction in orthodontics during the summer, fall, and spring semesters (year round).

Requirements

  • D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent
  • Successfully completed the NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE and a regional licensure examination (e.g. ADEX)
  • Completed a CODA-accredited graduate program in Orthodontics by the position start date
  • Board Certified, or eligible for Board Certification, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics
  • Active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full)
