About The Position

The General/Restorative Dentistry faculty member will serve in the Department of Clinical Comprehensive Care or the Department of Restorative and Clinical Sciences. Core responsibilities will include clinical or simulation instruction in general/restorative dentistry and fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics during the summer, fall, and spring semesters (year round).

Requirements

  • D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent
  • Successfully completed the NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE and a regional licensure examination (e.g. ADEX)
  • Active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full) by the position start date
  • A broad scope of clinical experience (and/or completion of additional training) in general/restorative dentistry (including fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics)
