The technologist will also be responsible for post-processing parts through cleaning, washing, media blasting, sanding, and general assembly. Troubleshooting equipment and print issues is crucial for optimal machine performance. The role requires collaboration with design, manufacturing, and quality teams, referencing CAD models, and handling occasional administrative tasks such as inventory management and material ordering. Candidates should possess a strong mechanical aptitude, working knowledge of computer hardware and networking related to printing systems, and basic understanding of engineering drawings and CAD models. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also required, and occasional domestic travel (less than 5%) may be necessary.
