About The Position

The Additive Manufacturing Technician is responsible for setup, operate, clean, and maintain additive machines to ensure efficient operations, prevent contamination and achieve high utilization. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The technician will be involved in the post-processing of 3D printed parts, which requires hand skills for tasks involving exacto knives and scrapers. Responsibilities include changing equipment to different materials, calibration, and adhering to AS9100 standards and internal quality standards. Proper disposal of hazardous waste is also a key duty. The technician must be able to accurately read and record critical production information, manage inventory, and maintain internal Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) for materials. Housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area are essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required, along with promoting a positive and safe work environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

U.S. person status (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

Setup, operate and perform daily as well as preventative maintenance on additive manufacturing machines.
Strictly adheres to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Post processing of 3D printed parts. (Hand skills are required while handling exacto knives and scrapers)
Changing out equipment to different materials and calibration of equipment
Adhering to the AS9100 standard and complying with internal quality standards
Proper disposal of hazardous waste
Ability to accurately read and record information (i. e. material manufacture date, serial number, and other criteria) that is critical to the production process.
Handling inventory and keeping up with internal MOQ’s for frequently used materials
Perform housekeeping and cleanup duties upon completion of assigned tasks.
Actively participate in housekeeping efforts by maintaining an orderly, clean, and safe work area
