About The Position

In this role, you will lead the Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) part development pipeline, acting as a consultant for part selection, process selection, optimization, qualification, and implementation. You will design innovative, production-ready components by creating 3D models and assemblies optimized for additive manufacturing to improve quality, cost, and speed. You will collaborate with global engineering teams, clearly communicating timelines, risks, and solutions while influencing design decisions across multiple stakeholders. You will create rough stock and finish-machined drawings, considering GD&T requirements, inspection capabilities, and downstream machining processes. You will develop, build, and test prototypes, working hands-on in the Additive Technology Lab. You will contribute to the advancement of Emerson’s additive manufacturing standards, engineering practices, and internal best-practice documentation. You will support continuous improvement by initiating engineering change requests and documenting post-build results to inform and refine future designs.
