About The Position
Join our expanding Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) program as a per diem medical provider at our Danvers Treatment Center, a part of Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services. This role is crucial for assessing and treating patients within our Acute Treatment Services (ATS) program, ensuring they receive timely and effective care during their detox admission.
Requirements
- 3-5 years in Primary Care or Urgent Care experience.
- Must be vaccinated against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Addiction Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients in our Acute Treatment Services (ATS) program.
- Conduct initial physical exams and develop care plans within the first 24-36 hours of detox admission.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to deliver primary medical care addressing immediate needs related to substance use disorder treatment.
