About The Position
Centurion is seeking an Addiction Recovery Specialist at Madison Correctional Facility in Madison, Indiana. The Addiction Recovery Specialist provides supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility, through outpatient treatment, addiction recovery education, and group counseling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human services field required.
- ACIT certification required or the ability to obtain within 30 days.
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Consultant (CADAC II+, LAC, LAC-A, LSW) or higher certification/licensure or the ability to obtain within 24 months of hiring date.
- Must show/obtain current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR, first-aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use certification.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provides supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility.
- Conducts outpatient treatment, addiction recovery education, and group counseling.
