About The Position

This role is for an ADC Engineer I within the Non-Relational Database Services team at AWS. The position focuses on implementing cloud computing solutions for U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies, utilizing the latest cloud technologies. The engineer will work with massively scaled non-relational database services like DynamoDB, DocumentDB, ElastiCache, Managed Blockchain, Neptune, and Timestream, which are critical components of customer solutions. The role involves designing and building operational scalability to support platform growth and requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, with the candidate needing to opt into commensurate clearances for each government agency they support.

A day in the life of an ADC Engineer might involve deep-diving into customer issues, investigating metric trends, consulting with Amazon engineers, or developing new approaches to automate operational tasks. The engineer will become an expert in AWS Services platform diagnosis, response, measurement, and automation.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
• 1+ years Linux systems administration experience
• 1+ years technical troubleshooting / support experience
• 1+ years of networking experience
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
