About The Position

Donation Trailer Attendants are the face of Goodwill to donors dropping off donations at donation trailer sites. They help donors and acknowledge their support. The role involves unloading, sorting, and storing donations and maintaining a clean, orderly, and secure trailer area. It requires working outdoors in extreme conditions, although most trailers have some form of heating or cooling, such as fans. Trailer hours vary by location, and trailers are open Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

• Ability to lift donations, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as prolonged standing, recurring bending, crouching, reaching, and stooping.
• Ability to work outside in extreme conditions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from donor vehicles.
• Offer or issue a receipt to every donor.
• Sort and store donations in the trailer.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and security of the trailer area.
• Help donors and acknowledge their support.
