ADC Attendant
About The Position
Donation Trailer Attendants are the face of Goodwill to donors dropping off donations at trailer sites. They help donors and acknowledge their support. Attendants unload donations, offer or issue receipts, sort and store donations in the trailer, and maintain the cleanliness, order, and security of the trailer area. The work takes place outdoors in extreme conditions; most trailers have some form of heating or cooling, such as fans. The role involves physical exertion, including extended standing, bending, crouching, reaching, and stooping. Frequent lifting of moderately heavy items up to 35 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds are required. Some positions may require frequent climbing of stairs, ladders, or step stools. Trailers are open Monday through Sunday, and hours vary by location. Pay is $15 per hour.
Requirements
- Ability to lift incoming donations weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions and perform the physical activities described, including extended standing, bending, crouching, reaching, and stooping.
- For certain positions, ability to frequently climb stairs, ladders, or step stools.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
